Timber and thermowood direct from Järvamaa, Estonia

H Market supplies timber from a sawmill and production site in Järva County, central Estonia, about an hour from Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu. The range covers thermally modified timber – planed boards, decking, cladding, lumber and fire-retardant Burnblock cladding – as well as ordinary spruce and pine: construction beams, sawn boards, cladding, fascia boards, floorboards, pressure-treated decking, fence pickets, pallets and firewood.

Which timber for which job?

  • Thermowood – heated to 180–220 °C in steam without chemicals; thermo pine reaches EN 350 durability class 1–2 and is ideal for decking, facades, saunas and fences.
  • Pressure-treated timber – pine protected by deep impregnation; the budget choice for decking and fences.
  • Sawn and planed spruce/pine – framing, formwork, sheathing, cladding and floors; standard lengths 2.5–6.0 m, custom cross-sections on request.
  • Pallets and packaging – EUR-size, FIN-size or custom pallets with ISPM 15 heat treatment for export.

Prices and VAT

Prices are shown per running metre, per m² or per piece and are from prices: the final price depends on quantity, length mix, drying and transport. The Estonian price includes 24% VAT. The export price without VAT applies to deliveries outside the EU and to EU businesses with a valid VAT number (intra-community supply, reverse charge); private buyers in the EU pay Estonian VAT.

Collection and delivery

Delivery terms are EXW Järvamaa: collect from the yard with your own transport, or let us quote delivery within Estonia, to Finland, Latvia or the rest of the EU. Larger loads travel by truck or crane truck, with unloading by agreement. Some products are made to order with a minimum quantity – planed thermowood boards, for example, from 1000 running metres per order.

What is the difference between thermowood, pressure-treated and ordinary sawn timber?
Thermowood is modified with heat and steam without chemicals and reaches EN 350 durability class 1–2 (thermo pine). Pressure-treated timber is protected by chemical impregnation and is cheaper. Untreated pine and spruce are only class 3–4 and best suited to indoor or protected structures.
Do you deliver to Finland and other EU countries?
Yes. We quote delivery to Finland, Latvia and the rest of the EU, or you can collect from Järvamaa with your own transport. EU businesses with a valid VAT number pay the export price without VAT.
