Sawn construction beams from an Estonian sawmill

Our construction beams are sawn from Estonian spruce and pine at a sawmill in Järva County. They are used for wall framing, rafters, floor joists, sill plates and posts, while the smaller sections (32×50, 50×50) work as battens. The base price is €354.64/m³ incl. VAT (€286/m³ excl. VAT).

Converting running metres to cubic metres

Multiply thickness by width in metres to get the volume of one running metre, then divide 1 by that figure. For 50×100 mm: 0.05 × 0.10 = 0.005 m³, so 1 m³ contains 200 running metres. For 50×150 it is about 133 lin. m per m³, for 100×100 exactly 100.

Lengths, moisture and custom sizes

Standard lengths are 2.5, 3.0, 3.6, 4.2, 5.1 and 6.0 m; other lengths and custom cross-sections can be sawn on request. Fresh sawn timber usually has a moisture content of 18–35 %, so kiln drying is available for an extra fee when you need dry timber, for example for interior framing.

Send the sizes, lengths and quantities with your delivery address; we confirm stock, final price and transport within 1 business day and send an invoice. Prices apply at the sawmill yard, EXW Järvamaa – transport and unloading are extra, and large orders may qualify for free or cheaper transport. Prices follow the supplier list of 15 January 2026 and may change. Estonian prices include 24% VAT; the export price without VAT applies outside the EU and to EU businesses with a valid VAT number.
