Sawn construction boards for formwork, sheathing and battens

Sawn construction boards are the workhorse of every building site. Ours are sawn from Estonian spruce and pine in Järva County and are mostly full-edged, meaning they have square sawn edges along the length without bark edges (wane) – easier to install and with less waste.

Which board for which job?

  • 22×50 and 25×50 – roof battens, laths and counter-battens.
  • 19×100, 22×100 and 25×100 – formwork, wall and roof sheathing, temporary structures.
  • 25×125 to 25×200 – sub-floors, roof sheathing, foundation formwork and fences.

Lengths and moisture

Standard lengths are 2.5, 3.0, 3.6, 4.2, 5.1 and 6.0 m; other lengths and cross-sections can be sawn on request. Fresh sawn boards usually contain 18–35 % moisture and shrink slightly as they dry, so allow for this in visible structures. Kiln drying is available for an extra fee.

Ordering and delivery

Send the sizes, lengths, quantity and destination via the inquiry form or WhatsApp. Within 1 business day we confirm stock, final price and transport and send an invoice – please check availability with us before coming to collect. Prices apply at the sawmill yard (EXW Järvamaa); transport and unloading are extra, with cheaper or free transport possible for large orders. Prices follow the supplier list of 15 January 2026 and may change. Estonian prices include 24% VAT; the export price without VAT applies outside the EU and to EU businesses with a valid VAT number.

Which size should I use for what?
22×50 and 25×50 mm suit roof battens and laths; 19–25×100 mm boards are used for formwork and sheathing; wider 25×125–200 mm boards for sub-floors, roof sheathing and fences.
What does full-edged mean?
Full-edged boards have square sawn edges along their length, without bark edges (wane). Most of our construction boards are full-edged, which makes installation easier and reduces waste.
Which lengths are available, and how dry are the boards?
